The Maine Trail Crew – An Exceptional Volunteer Opportunity
Join the crew and work on Maine's Appalachian Trail to help preserve this precious resource for future generations of hikers. An enthusiastic staff awaits your arrival and is looking forward to building trail with you.
Work and live in some of the wildest places left in the Eastern U.S. Projects focus on rebuilding and restoring heavily impacted sections of the Appalachian Trail.
Persons age 18 or older--of all backgrounds--are welcome. Enthusiasm, good health, physical vigor, and adaptability are vital. Willingness to follow instructions and safety rules and to share equally in camp chores is essential. Experience helps but isn't necessary.
Join us for 1 to 6 week sessions throughout July and August.

Salary & Benefits
Accommodations are provided - wall tents at base camp and backpacking tents on the trail. There is a rustic country building to relax in. Days off trips go to the Ocean, Katahdin, Scenic Waterfalls and many other fun places.
