The Capital District YMCA is a charitable not-for-profit organization dedicated to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. YMCA Camp Chingachgook is a year round facility located on the Beautiful Lake George. Camp has four main program areas From Outdoor Education, Summer Camp, Adventure, and Weekends and Retreats.
Qualifications: Desire to work outside with all age groups; interest, degree, or experience in education, science, or outdoor recreation; impeccable references; flexibility, willingness to learn, fun-loving; certifications in Red Cross First Aid or Wilderness First Aid and CPR preferred, Lifeguarding and Sailing a plus.
Job Description: Facilitate classes in adventure education, team building, high ropes, climbing tower, environmental education, orienteering, sailing and outdoor recreation to school, adult, and retreat groups.
