Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer
posted: Jan 15, 2010 and closes: Mar 01, 2011 Description and DetailsCamp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer are YMCA camps on the coast of North Carolina. We have a strong history in summer residential camping and Spring and Fall programs. We are currently hiring staff to facilitate our Spring programs; including Family Camps, corporate team building, day camps and one week resident camps. Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to live in close quarters and get along with fellow staff. • Must be in good physical condition, able to lift and carry 40 pounds. Desired Qualifications • Able to display high levels of self-motivation and teamwork. • Ability to communicate effectively and maturely with fellow staff and participants. • Desire to engage with and be a role model for a young children. • Interest in outdoor education, adventure leadership or experiential education. Specific experience in activities (sailing, archery, riflery, canoeing, athletics, nature...) is desired, but not required. Staff will receive intensive two week training prior to season beginning.
