Description and Details

Under supervision of Open Space Manager and direct supervision of Ranger I, patrol by foot, bike, and vehicle of native open space, parks, recreational facilities, and offices. Other duties performed: issue Contact Notices for open space rule violations, remove road-killed animals from streets, remove rattlesnakes from private property, provide information about open space resources to the public, record wildlife sightings, deliver business packets, assist with open space maintenance and monitoring boundaries for encroachments. This is not a law-enforcement position. Will call in and work with local law enforcement officers when the need arises.Candidate must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License and be insurable by the Master Association's insurance carrier.

Salary & Benefits

Position length is somewhat flexible, from April/May through September/October, 2010. Pay is $10-$12 per hour, depending on experience
