Absolute Adventure Education is a company based in the Musandam Peninsula of Oman. We are seeking experienced, motivated, and culturally adaptable staff members to instruct and lead day length adventure trips for international school groups. The student ages range from 8 to 23 years old. The adventure aspect of our program consists of hiking, mountain biking, abseiling, rock climbing, sea kayaking, low ropes, and environmental science. Many of our activities are used to promote team building or group awareness, others because they encourage leadership and some are used simply because they are fun. We are hiring Interns for a 2 month period from November-December 2010 and from February-March 2011. Interns are provided with the following benefits: *Direct round-trip flight from a major airport in the USA to Dubai, UAE. You must provide your own transportation to the airport.We will arrange to have you picked up at the airport in Dubai. *Housing and Food while in Oman. *Use of Company Vehicle *Company cellular phone *Living stipend of $125 a week Qualifications for Interns: *WFA or WFR *Experience instructing or leading 2 or more of the following: Sea Kayaking Abseiling Rock Climbing Backpacking Mountain Biking Low Ropes/Initiative Games Environmental Science We are also hiring full-time staff to work a 6 month period from October 2010-March 2011. Full-time staff are provided with the following benefits: *Direct round-trip flight from a major airport in the USA to Dubai, UAE. You must provide your own transportation to the airport.We will arrange to have you picked up at the airport in Dubai. *Housing and Food while in Oman. *Use of Company Vehicle *Company cellular phone *Weekly salary TBD Qualifications for full-time staff: *WFR or WEMT *2+ years experience instructing or leading 3 or more of the following: Sea Kayaking Abseiling Rock Climbing Backpacking Mountain Biking Low Ropes/Initiative Games Environmental Science We are accepting applications until May 31, 2010.
