Camp Oh-Neh-Tah is looking for a qualified Waterfront Director to support our aquatics program this summer from June 14th – August 18th, 2010. Our residential summer camp for girls is situated on 500 beautiful acres in the Catskill Mountains in Windham, NY. The Waterfront Director (WD) will work with a team of 4 certified lifeguards to lead daily waterfront activities. The Waterfront Director will lead the aquatics program including daily instruction, recreational swimming, boating and on site staff training. In addition, the WD will set up the waterfront activity area and consistently maintain the safety of all participants engaged in waterfront activities. The Waterfront Director creates swimming and boating activities that are exciting, fun and safe for the participants. This will also include, following program policies and procedures aligned with the American Camp Association (ACA) standards. This role requires certifications, extensive aquatic experience, strong leadership and creativity. This position reports to the Camp Director. Minimal Qualifications: • 21 years of age or older • ARC Lifeguard Certification with Waterfront Module • ARC Water Safety Instructor • ARC First Aid and CPR for Professional Rescuer • 3 seasons of previous lifeguard or aquatics director experience
