Description and Details
The Action Sports Group needs a talented, high-energy Web editor to manage the online presence of Bike, Powder and Canoe & Kayak magazines (Outdoor Group). You need the ability to write clean, accurate copy on tight deadlines, have solid photo and video chops, and the technical skills to independently manage high-traffic websites with multiple daily updates. You should have at least a working knowledge of all three sports, and a passion to learn more. News judgment is critical—you will need to identify big stories and publish them to the web before the competition. This is not a 9-to-5 gig. You will attend action sports events around the U.S., Canada and abroad to interview athletes, create written, video and still photo coverage, and represent the magazines.
